GE Aerospace

Advancing aerospace innovation

across the Middle East
GE Aerospace has been supporting aviation customers in the Middle East for more than 40 years. We continue to grow our regional footprint and expand our local facilities to support customer operations.

Today, every major Middle East carrier flies GE Aerospace or joint venture partner engines, making the region one of GE Aerospace’s most important markets.

More than 220 employees work at GE Aerospace facilities, customer sites, and partner Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities across the Middle East, supporting nearly 30 airlines and a combined fleet of more than 1,400 GE Aerospace and joint venture partner engines.

GE Aerospace has also developed facilities and supported partner MRO operations in the Middle East to help customers extend time on wing and improve engine performance.

On Wing Support facilities in Dubai and Doha provide quick-turn services and flight-line repairs.

The Middle East Technology Center innovates solutions to support customer operations in the region’s challenging hot and harsh environment, including Analytics Based Maintenance software – a solution designed in the region, for the region, and now used internationally.

    Fostering sustainable partnerships

GE Aerospace also works with airline customers and other stakeholders to promote more efficient aviation by supporting Sustainable Aviation Fuel test flights, developing fuel- and emissions-optimizing flight software, and innovating operational tools for more effective on-wing engine cleaning.

Partnership drives GE Aerospace and CFM International’s open MRO model, supporting local MRO operations across the Middle East.

GE Aerospace also contributes to local innovation and entrepreneurship as a partner to Aviation X Lab, a Dubai-based incubator of aerospace-focused startups.
