    GE Aerospace Foundation

    The GE Aerospace Foundation is an important part of our work toward lifting people up. It is an independent charitable organization that provides engineering education, workforce development, and disaster relief. The Asia Pacific region has received nearly US$750,000 in total Foundation-related giving over the past 10 years, including grants and related programming that have transformed local communities and helped develop a stronger workforce for the future.

    We are deeply committed to long-term, collective efforts that create lasting impact in the communities we serve. Through sustained partnerships and volunteer initiatives across Asia Pacific, we strive to foster care, connection, and transformation:
    • In Singapore, volunteers partnered with Helping Joy Ltd. to revitalize elderly residents' homes, bringing comfort and joy.
    • In Malaysia, we supported PERTIWI Soup Kitchen to provide meals to those in need and, since 2015, our partnership with @EPIC Homes has resulted in the provision of six homes and two latrines for underserved communities.
    • In Australia, our teams collaborated with The Good Box to pack essentials and heartfelt notes for individuals experiencing homelessness.

    The Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS)
    We are proud of our long-term partnership with the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS), a multi-industry scholarship program supported by the Singapore government. This program benefits promising local talent who are passionate about contributing to Singapore’s strategic industries. Since 2015, our collaboration with SgIS has helped integrate young talent into our workforce, where they are developing into the leaders of tomorrow.

    The Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools Program
    GE Aerospace is a proud sponsor of the Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools Program, a Queensland Government initiative that connects students with industry partners to encourage careers in aviation. Through this program, we sponsor awards for students and teachers and offer valuable work experience opportunities, inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
