GE launched six new commercials during the 2016 Summer Olympics highlighting the company’s digital industrial transformation. The commercials are a continuation of the popular “Owen,” series with a new character named “Sarah.”
“Where Owen is on the digital side, Sarah is on the industrial side building jet engines, that are big industrial machines, enabled by what Owen is creating on the digital side,” said Andy Goldberg, Chief Creative Officer, GE.
The majority of the filming was held at the GE Aviation test facility in Peebles, Ohio. GE employees, actors and crew worked around the clock to help tell Sarah’s digital industrial story come to life.
