LE BOURGET, France – GE Aerospace and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore opportunities to collaborate on research and development for next generation aerospace technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.

That’s why GE Aerospace is working across the aviation industry to advance technologies to reduce aviation emissions, and we look forward to continued discussion with the National Research Council of Canada on collaboration opportunities,” said Mohamed Ali, vice president of engineering for GE Aerospace.
GE Aerospace has outlined one of its most extensive technology demonstration roadmaps in company history through multiple programs to advance open fan engine architecture, hybrid electric propulsion systems, compact core, thermal management, and more. In addition to continued development of more efficient aircraft engine technologies, GE Aerospace efforts are also supporting engine compatibility with alternative fuels.
