SHANGHAI – November 5, 2024 - GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) announced today that Xiamen Airlines signed a TrueChoice™ service agreement at the seventh China International Import Expo that covers the maintenance, repair and overhaul of 35 GEnx engines for the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The array of TrueChoice engine maintenance offerings incorporates GE Aerospace capabilities and customizations across an engine’s lifecycle. All TrueChoice offerings are supported by GE Aerospace health monitoring capabilities and experience to help reduce maintenance burden and service disruptions.
The GEnx engine family has more than 60 million flight hours since entry into service in 2011 and is the fastest-selling, high-thrust engine in GE history with nearly 3,000 engines in service and in backlog, including spares.
Xiamen Airlines currently operates a fleet of 12 787s powered by GEnx engines. The airline also operates a fleet of more than 150 aircraft with CFM56, LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines*.
*CFM is a 50/50 joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines
