Republic Airways Signs OnPoint Service Agreement with GE

EVENDALE, OH -- Republic Airways has signed a 10-year OnPointSM solutions agreement with GE Aviation that extends maintenance and overhaul coverage to its CF34-8E engine fleet. The agreement, which covers the airlines' 119 Embraer E170/175 aircraft, is valued at more than $240 million for the life of the contract.

"We are very excited to work with Republic Airways to ensure its engines are well maintained to meet the needs of their flying customers." 

Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America. The airlines offer scheduled passenger service on approximately 1,100 flights daily to 116 cities in 38 states, Canada, Jamaica and the Bahamas through airline services agreements with six U.S. airlines. All the airlines' flights are operated under their airline partner brand, such as AmericanConnection, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Frontier Airlines, United Express and US Airways Express. The airlines employ more than 4,300 aviation professionals and operate 206 regional jet aircraft.
