North American Airlines Signs OnPoint Service Agreement with GE

EVENDALE, OH -- North American Airlines has signed a five-year OnPointSM Solutions agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance and overhaul of CF6-80C2 engines that power five Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The agreement is valued at more than $20 million over the life of the contract. 

"This long term agreement is a natural progression of our long-standing relationship with GE," said Martin Wax, vice president of maintenance and engineering at North American. "We conducted a rigorous solicitation, analysis and negotiation, and GE continues to be the best value proposition for North American." 

North American, based at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport, is a U.S.-certificated air carrier offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers. Founded in 1989, North American operates its fleet of Boeing 767-300ER and Boeing 757-200ER passenger aircraft in charter and scheduled service. North American is a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings (OTC:WLDA.PK).
