Emirates and GE Aviation Sign Services Contract for Fleet of Boeing 777

Dubai -- GE Aviation and Emirates have today signed a 12-year OnPointSM solutions agreement for the Emirates fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft. The agreement will include maintenance and inventory support services of various Avionics, Electrical Power and Mechanical products for the Boeing 777 aircraft. 

Through this program, GE will provide maintenance and support services for Emirates B777 fleet by strengthening its local program management and stock support in Dubai, supported by its global repair and overhaul facilities in the UK, the US, and Asia.

"GE is pleased to reach this agreement with Emirates Airlines, which builds upon the successful relationship between our two companies." 

Emirates and GE have established a strong relationship and cooperation. As one of the world's fastest growing international airlines, the company operates GE90-powered 777-300ERs/-200LRs and represents the largest B777 fleet worldwide. 

This contract is the first Systems OnPoint solutions agreement with Emirates and will cover Emirates' current fleet and firm orders for a total fleet of 135 Boeing 777 aircraft - the largest fleet in the world.
