SINGAPORE – Cebu Pacific (CEB) has signed a three-year extension of its GE TrueChoice overhaul agreement for the maintenance of CFM56-5B* engines that power 17 Airbus A320 family aircraft flown by the airline.
Shevantha Weerasekera, Cebu Pacific’s Vice President of Engineering and Fleet Management said the extension demonstrates the company’s commitment to upholding the highest standards for aircraft engine maintenance.
“This contract extension represents a continuation of our successful relationship with GE Aerospace, the global leader in aircraft engine production and maintenance,” said Weerasekera. “It will ensure CEB has access to the highest quality material and technical expertise to keep our aircraft flying reliably and safely.”
TrueChoice services incorporate an array of GE capabilities and customizations across an engine’s lifecycle. All TrueChoice offerings are underpinned by GE data, advanced analytics and experience to help reduce maintenance burden and service disruptions.
