GE Aviation adds Turbine Engine Specialists to its Authorized Service Center network for CF-34 powered business jets

October 17, 2018

GE Aviation has added Turbine Engine Specialists (TES) as an Authorized Service Center to support GE’s CF34-powered business jets. With a location in Fort Worth at Meacham Field and repair crews around the US, TES will provide additional service and support options to GE Aviation customers.

TES offers efficient and quality field service. As a GE Aviation Authorized Service Center, TES will perform line maintenance inspections and routine installed-engine maintenance. This includes removal and replacement of engines and engine components, as well as repair and overhaul services. The authorization will allow TES to support GE’s OnPoint™ engine service program customers, as well as its new engine warranty.

"TES has a solid reputation as a service provider for business jets, and this agreement will allow them to increase support capabilities for our customers,” said Brad Mottier, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation’s Business & General Aviation and Integrated Services.

Since its service entry in 1983 on the Challenger 601 business jet, the CF34 engine has earned an industry-leading reputation as one of the cleanest, quietest and most fuel-efficient engines in its class. These rugged, airliner-class powerplants set a new standard in corporate aviation for reliability and low maintenance costs.

Across the CF34 family, GE has delivered more than 7,000 engines and continuously invests in product enhancements. Today, CF34 engines are in service with more than 900 business jet operators in more than 69 countries. CF34-3A1 and -3B1 engines have accumulated more than 62 million flight hours and 55 million cycles since entry into service.
