Air Independence Enrolls Business Jet Fleet in GE’s OnPoint Solution

Air Independence has entered into an OnPoint Solution agreement with GE Aviation to cover the CF34 engines that power Air Independence’s fleet of Challenger 604s.

Air Independence is an aircraft management company with bases in Munich, Germany and Salzburg, Austria. It operates advanced aircraft for charter and private travel. The backbone of its operation is its fleet of long range Challenger 604 aircraft.

OnPoint solutions are customized service agreements tailored to the operational and financial needs of each customer for any size fleet. These agreements are designed to help lower the customers' cost of ownership and maximize the use of their assets. Backed by GE's global support network, OnPoint services may include overhaul, on wing support, new and used-serviceable parts, component repair, technology upgrades, engine leasing, integrated systems support and diagnostics and integrated systems.

The aviation industry has recognized the enhanced asset value protection that OnPoint’s comprehensive service provides, worth as much as $2 million in increased aircraft valuation, according to Aircraft Bluebook. Aircraft buyers and sellers appreciate that the program is transferable at no cost.

Across the CF34 family, GE has delivered more than 6,000 engines and continuously invests in product enhancements. Today, CF34 engines are in service with 200 operators in more than 70 countries.
