EVENDALE, Ohio - GE Engine Services-Corporate Aviation, Inc. (GEES-CA) has acquired ElectroSonics, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, and McKinney, Texas. GEES-CA, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric Company, operates Garrett Aviation Services.
Founded in 1958, ElectroSonics provides avionics sales, engineering, installation and service for corporate jet aircraft worldwide, and employs more than 60 people at its Columbus and McKinney locations. Robert Kauffman, president of ElectroSonics, will continue to operate ElectroSonics as president and general manager.

ElectroSonics will continue to operate under its current name after the acquisition.
