GE Aviation announced today its TrueChoice Commercial Services program is now offered for its T700 helicopter engine. This includes the T700-powered Sikorsky S-70i Firehawk (T700-701D) and commercial UH-60 Black Hawks (T700-701C/D).

TrueChoice Flight Hour for commercial T700 helicopter engines is a comprehensive service offering for maintaining commercial helicopter operations. It is tailored to meet the business and financial objectives of operators and help optimize cost of ownership over the entire lifecycle with flexible risk transfer and payment options.
With TrueChoice Flight Hour service options, customers can select to receive:
- Scheduled and unscheduled shop visits
- Spare engine availability
- Flight line LRU coverage/availability
- Onsite and offsite training
- Service bulletin and airworthiness directive coverage
TrueChoice Flight Hour is underpinned by GE Aviation's growing data and analytic capabilities, as well as GE’s experience to help reduce maintenance burden and service disruptions for customers.
TrueChoice Flight Hour is also offered for the CT7 turboshaft engine family. This includes the CT7-2F1 for the Bell 525 Relentless, the CT7-E1 for the Leonardo AW189 and the CT7-8A for the Sikorsky S-92.
The T700/CT7 engine family has more than 100 million flight hours of experience on turboshaft and turboprop aircraft. Coupled with GE’s TrueChoice Flight Hour, the T700 engine will maximize availability and long-term value for commercial helicopters.
