Brad Mottier directs $25,000 GE Chairman’s Award grant to Legal Aid of Cincinnati
August 16, 2016
Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati was selected to receive a $25,000 Chairman’s Award grant from GE Aviation’s Bradley D. Mottier. The Chairman’s Award is given annually by GE Chairman and CEO Jeffrey R. Immelt. It is the highest level management honor bestowed on a GE executive, recognizing outstanding performance and leadership within the company.
Mottier, Vice President and General Manager, Business and General Aviation & Integrated Systems at GE Aviation, was the recipient of the Empower & Inspire Each Other Chairman’s award, for his “phenomenal leadership and competitiveness in the turbo-prop market.” Brad’s team won the industry competition to power Cessna’s newly launched Denali single-engine turboprop.
Brad had the opportunity to direct the $25,000 grant to a non-profit of his choosing.
The grant will support Legal Aid’s work to resolve serious legal problems for low-income residents in Southwest Ohio. “We are very grateful for Brad’s generosity in directing this significant donation to Legal Aid,” remarked executive director, Mary Asbury. “We appreciate his recognition of our mission and the value we bring to the community.”
